At the KOMEF Medical Examination Center, the average time for a gastrointestinal and colonoscopy examination is 30 minutes per patient, and we are capable of examining areas with severe curves without failure and removing polyps during the examination without hospitalization. Radiation Reduction and Infection Control
We use BISMUTH during CT scans to reduce the amount of scattered radiation exposure and protect the eyes and thyroid glands of patients. We also use disposable forceps to remove tissue during endoscopies for infection control.
Safety System for Endoscopies Under Sedation
In the event of an emergency during a medical examination, the patient is quickly provided with oxygen via central oxygen supply system to ensure the safety of the endoscopy procedure. Also, ECG, blood pressure, body temperature, and oxygen saturation (SpO2) are monitored during sedation, and in case of abnormalities, an alarm is automatically sounded to quickly respond to emergency situations such as sleep apnea.
